There is a daily act of worship. Learning time is 6.5 hours a day, 32.5 hours a week |
Arriving at school
The children should arrive at school between 8.25 am and 8.35 am.
All children who are late must report to the school reception, to be signed in.
Going home at the end of the day
The children leave the school at 3.10pm. Members of staff release their children from the classroom or year group doors onto the playground. Year 5 and Year 6 are able to go home by themselves provided the school receives written permission from parents.
The school gates are opened at 3.05pm. Parents waiting with younger children must be fully responsible for their safety at all times, and supervise their children’s behaviour. We request that children do not climb on school property, or play in Kelly’s garden. The school cannot be held responsible for any accidents occurring before or after the school day.
Please be punctual; if you are unavoidably delayed, please notify the school office that you will be late. Any child whose parents are unexpectedly late should not leave the school site alone, but go to the school reception which is staffed until 4.00pm. Either a member of the office staff or the duty teacher will endeavour to contact the parents, and will care for the child until the arrival of a parent.
